Who is this guy they call "SmoothAl"?

Created in 1972, SmoothAl was born in Southern California to a mother and a father. The first six years of life were a bit hazy and slightly traumatic because of sinking arm floaties and a vindictive banana that threw him face first onto the driveway. The remaining formidable years were spent in a lovely town on the border of Los Angeles County and Orange County. This is where he learned to ride a bike, to realize that the only reason people have kids is to have them do work around the house, and that even if you weren't doing anything you, shouldn't be alone with a girl in the house.

The 90s were the transition years, where beer became the "new water", that Hip Hop is a culture and deserves admiration, and that there are "Otha Fish" in the sea. This was a amazing time in the life of SmoothAl. He provided the Central Coast with some of the most inspiring Hip Hop the world has ever heard, including a 24-hour show educating the community of San Luis Obispo, about Rap music spanning a 10+ year span. This was also the time when the future became cloudy for our hero. Without a serious direction of his future, SmoothAl made the trek back to the Southland where he finally graduated from the "system".

The dawn of the new millennium opened up a new pair of eyes for the Smooth one. The ability to fly, take on the role of leader in Los Angeles' most well known sporting venues, and finding the next volume in his life - his Love. As the years proceeded, the flying was halted because of an injury, the leader position was turned over to some other sucker, and the union between he and his Love grew stronger. A new magical experience presented itself and a leader he became once again.

In 2009, SmoothAl has returned to flying, or falling (how ever you see it), having accumulated over 300 jumps! He is also planning a binding union, for next year, with the most wonderful woman in the world…who isn't his mother or grandmother. And, finally, he is looking for the next great opportunity - to grace someone with his skills, ethics, and experiences.
